“Weinfeld”, noble common noun awarded to the de Valentini family by Maria
Theresa of Austria through Giovanni Paolo, Jurisdictional Chancellor.
“Weinfeld” as in Vallagarina’s vineyard par excellence, ancient nineteenth
century caesura, where we skilfully cultivate our Lagrein.
Highly prestigious red that tantalises even the most refined palates with
its complex scents of ripe red fruits and its balance between structure and
tannins, which make it one of a kind.
Following an advanced ripening on the vine, resulting in an excellent
concentration of polyphenols, it is fermented with its skins in steel
barrels and left to macerate for twenty days.
It is subsequently refined in small oak casks for twelve months and then
bottled for a further three.
